Sveholmen shipping was established in 1973 when Jakob Einarsen and his father invested in their very first selfdischarger, “MS Nyving 380DWT”. It started small but quickly we saw the need to expand and we purchased “Nysand 550DWT” in 1976. Our current “ms Nysand” has been in our possession since 1990 and is still operational.

In 1994 we started to sell gravel and sand at our base, “Sveholmen” in Sævelandsvik, our vessels still delivers products here. In 2014 there were a generation change in Sveholmen, Jakob Einarsen handed the control of the company over to his sons.
